Three of Mantra Softech’s fingerprint scanners now offer full support for the Windows Biometric Framework. Mantra said the update will provide developers with a unified design ecosystem that makes it easier to integrate. Mantra’s fingerprint technology in Windows compatible biometric products.

“With this framework, it will now be possible for users of fingerprint devices to operate on a common management platform that will improve the quality, reliability and consistency of the user experience,” said Hiren Bhandari , Technical Director of Mantra. “We are currently in the process of making our other fingerprint modules compatible with WBF and will be announcing this news soon as well.”

Mantra Softech is based in India and currently provides fingerprint technology for several government initiatives.
