“In the future, the optimization of the NIK will be more intensive where the General Tax Directorate has agreed with the Home Office that later the NPWP will be removed and completely replaced by the NIK”, Explain Zudan.
In addition, Zudan continues, optimizing the NIK as a database integration database will have an effect on other industries. These range from network providers of telecommunications services, insurance, banking, land, health, law enforcement and crime prevention to the development of democracy.

Previously, President Joko Widodo signed Presidential Regulation Number 83 of 2021 regarding the inclusion and use of NIK and / or NPWP in public services. The regulations, signed on 9e September 2021, aims to support public services at the service of every citizen and resident in the realization of their fundamental rights and needs.
